Workflow
Bespoke post-production workflows, covering advice on the best cameras, storage, IT equipment, and software to meet each project's unique requirements. Expert training is also available to help teams get the most from their setup.
Kit Hire
Custom portable equipment designed and built for remote and international shoots, including edit servers, high-capacity storage servers, and video editing workstations. All kit is compact enough for travel and built to enable collaborative workflows in the field.
Software
Specialist tools developed for post-production, including automated footage logging software and a service for rapidly uploading media from remote locations over slow connections. Every product is designed to save time and simplify complex technical challenges.
DIT
Experienced Digital Imaging Technicians supplied to manage media on set, ensuring footage is properly handled, backed up, and ready for post-production. This service is actively expanding, with new technicians being trained and placed across more productions.
Data
Secure long-term data preservation using LTO tape-based storage, protecting valuable media and project files for the future. All data is carefully archived to ensure assets remain safe and accessible when needed.
Bespoke
Tailored engineering projects built to solve specific production challenges that off-the-shelf solutions can't address. Past builds include motorised high-speed camera sliders and automated underwater camera triggers.

Technical Director
With over 15 years in TV post-production, James specialises in creating bespoke workflows, software, and hardware that help productions manage large volumes of media on tight deadlines. He has worked across genres including natural history, drama, and entertainment for broadcasters such as the BBC, Netflix, and Disney.
Sarah Miller
Managing Director
Sarah brings over 20 years of post-production experience, having worked at many of Bristol’s major facilities throughout her career. She co-founded Big Bang Post Production in 2004, serving as Facility Manager for a decade, before joining Doghouse Post Production and becoming its Managing Director in 2022.
Frey Tay
Director
Fred runs VFX and graphics departments and consults on post-production workflows, with experience as a Senior Online Editor and Colourist across natural history, factual, and entertainment programming. He draws on both on-set and production experience to design unique workflows for award-winning series.
